File size display format? Please!

It still sounds incredible stupid in my ears too - like baby talk - maybe if IEC had come up with something better, the use of it would have been more widespread by now

Well.. Many people ARE confused with size and speed measurements in the computer world.. Including storage developers and ISPs.. : ) And I think the kibi Mibi binary system is a fairly good idea. Actually I would like to have it customizeable in totalcmd when using the dynamic file size display. That would be a smart move.. I've seen many different places where ppl (mostly code oriented folks) use it alot. It makes sence to me.. Its not hard to adopt it. I would like Ghisler to give it a thought.. Its no biggie.. : )

- You may get this easily editing your *.LNG file and changing the appropriate strings :

175=…
1580=…
1652=…
1657=…
5263=…

• If you are using English, you may get a standalone English DLL @ the TC-site and do the same

• After all, one doesn't care how it sounds, maybe it sounds nice in some Asian¦Indian¦Coco Islands languages…
- The only goal is to display legal right units !
