There will be new version soon.
Interesting hint, though current translation from "russian to english" is in beta stage, and it shows. ;)
Btw, i have got it finally to work here (WinXP-Pro-SP2-etc-blabla-mine-is-longer-than-yours-just-so-you-know):
  • copy AMM.dll and LibSound.dll into TC's main folder (where tc.exe is located)
  • place WaveView.wlx in any folder you like (e.g. <path>\Totalcmd\wlx\WaveView\WaveView.wlx)
  • add following lines to the Lister section of wincmd.ini, where # = listerplugin slot of your choice)

Code: Select all

[ListerPlugins]
#=%commander_path%\wlx\waveview\waveview.wlx
#_detect="MULTIMEDIA & ext="WAV""
So far, so good. But the plugin isn't able to actually play WAV-files, or is it?

EDIT: Ah yes, found it. :)
  • [Space] to play
  • Mousewheel or [Up/Down] to scale time
  • [Shift]+Mousewheel to scale the amplitude

Hi guys, as i can see there haven't been posts for a long time in this topic. We've just tried waveview and We'd like to enquire if any of you knows about if it is still under development. We have tried to get into contact with SSR Lab but they still have not replied to our email. The reason we're writing is because it would be awesome plugin for pro-audio users if it had 2 more additional features. 24 bit wav playback and auto-play. We'd greatly appreciate if any of you could help us get the ssr guys to release a new version including these 2 features.

regards,
/ a couple of pro-audio users from Hungary

mightwork...here here!! +1 on both of your additions!

really needs to be 24 bit for most sample cds these days. also auto play is another requirement. One last thing it must have tho, is to be able to "let go" of the file it is playing so you can "move" the file into another folder as the viewer is playing it. So basicially you can go thru your hard drive of 1000s of sounds and put all the good "kicks" that you find into one folder easily. A decent version of this plugin would make my life (and many other ppls im sure) so much easier and happier....
