Mainly I use TC for search (local disks and FS-plugins only), navigation and viewing files using Lister. I very rarely use MRT, BTM, FTP transfer and directory synchronization.
Below is examples of my usual work with TC when I observed exceptions.
1. Often I have to search through 200-300 thousand files using text or plugin search. If search takes more then 5-7 minutes (coffee and/or cigarette break
) usually I abort him and start another search with different criteria. It can be repeated many times succesfully but sometime after aborting search and closing search dialog TC starts to redraw filelist and exception occures. I noticed - in most cases active panel shows custom view including fields from the same plugin as used in last aborted search. 2. Often I have 7-8 Listers at the same time. In all Lister windows I many times press 4 button to see the same file with different plugins. When I finished to look at files I need to close all Lister windows. If I close them one-by-one - everything Ok. But if I close TC - sometime exception occured.
3. I have my own plugin to automatically switch view when TC enters into specific directories. Yes, I know - API doesn't intended for such plugins, but it is not important now. This plugin just send cm_SrcCustomViewXX command via WM_USER+51 message to TC. Sometime exception occures when I quick switch between two directories and for each directiory my plugin send different cm_SrcCustomViewXX commands.
May be another point is also interesting for you: during last month at least twice after exception in TC I've seen an empty(!) wincmd.ini file.
I would like to accent - please, don't see this as bug-report, don't waste your time. I can live with this. If I'll find some specific scenario - of course I'll send it to you.
