Why is this topic moved to "TC7 Fixed bugs" ?
If it works for qwertiklubo in TC 6.57 but not in TC 7.02a there could be some bug responsible.

Are you using a proxy/firewall? I ask because of this line:
Here the proxy (or intermediate server?) reports that the connection to the final destination was lost, so the file couldn't be uploaded completely.450 Transfer aborted. Link to file server lost.

I've got exactly the same problem.
I use Total Commander 7.03
No firewall, no proxy.
I always get an error message "upload size mismatch" when the error occurs.
Restarting sometimes helps, i.e. I can upload a file normally like once or twice before the error comes back. Sometimes it occurs again immediately.

I have tested this problem once with a server which showed this behaviour - the connection was dropped by the server, and I couldn't do anything about it because the error wasn't on my side.
All I can recommend to you is that you use an ftp client which supports resume of uploads, like FileZilla. Sorry, I will not add this for the moment because the risk of losing data is just too high.

I installed "Cerberus FTP server" on my PC.
I upload from my computer (TC 7.0.3) many files to my FTP server (connected to LAN IP 192.168.147.111.. again my computer) without any problem... everytime is OK.
BUT ..
One thing is enough to simulate old problem -> "Upload size mismatch!". When I LIMIT UPLOAD SPEED on local network (Netlimiter 2 pro) to cca 90 KB/s, problem appears. I bypass router "Asus WL500g deluxe" (LED don't flash mean no activity) because I am conneted from my PC IP to my PC IP. Router wouldn't be a problem.
Limit upload speed to 1 KB/s ... BAD everytime
Limit upload speed to 90 KB/s ... BAD everytime
Limit upload speed to 2048 KB/s ... BAD everytime
Limit upload speed to 4096 KB/s ... OK everytime
Limit upload speed to 8192 KB/s ... OK everytime
Limit upload speed to unlimited ... OK everytime
Test> copying 50 files with sizes cca 1kB to 500 kB
Maybe we are closer to discover what causing this behaviour.
Good luck to you.

I wonder how thi speed limiter reduces the speed - maybe by dropping packets or similar which causes lost packets, causing the server to fail...

I dont think Netlimiter drop some packets. I dont have any problems with Netlimiter.
Why Total commander send packet with "RST flag" so early after data transfer start? This isn't a problem?
This is link to page, because Picture better describe it.

I'm sorry to disturb you again.

Thank you Hacker and ghisler.
You are right, IT IS a NETLIMITER PROBLEM.
Example: File lengt is 26.184 bytes and sending takes miliseconds, but netlimiter compute upload speed to thousands of bytes/sec. Maybe netlimiter thinks is too much sometimes and made "RST" connection.
TC703 report problem, but
TC657 dont report problem even if file size different.
