Hmm, I implemented it this way so you can use tooltips with cm_showhint even when you don't want them with the mouse. What sense would it have to send cm_showhint if you don't want any tips?

I agree. I have pointed out a couple of times in the beta-test forum that those two options ("Show filename in list..." and "Win 32 style tips...") should not be dependable on each other.Unchecking "Show filename in filelist" should not grey the lower boxes.
