The Codepage= is needed only if you want to see accents or characters from a different codepage than the one set in the system (for non-Unicode programs). If you leave out that line, TC will assume the current user codepage (CP_ACP).

To see them where? In TC's dialog? Why should that affect command line strings from external programs?

What if the language file contains characters that are not present in the system codepage - I guess you need the codepage= line then? Do you then have to accept that apparently numerous external programs won't work with TC?

Sorry, I have no idea why this would happen, I don't have this problem so far. But I will try to reproduce and fix it. It probably has to do with Unicode controls. Do you use the option "just one copy of TC allowed"?

Yes, you need this to see e.g. French accents on a Russian system or so.

No.

Then it is essential to fix the problem IMHO.

Why didn't you add the cm_VisBreadCrumbs (2926) command to your menu (though very useful)?

Because it can already be configured via Configuration - Options - Layout. Most people will probably keep it either permanently enabled or permanently disabled. The cm_VisBreadCrumbs command is only for those who need to frequently switch it on and off.

Where is that typo - can you lead me towards it ?

Sorry for my two latter posts. It seems I've downloaded some old or wrong version of your menu pack. Now it's all right, thank you.

xp vista 7

Post by *ElQuia »

petermad, first I :D love your menus.

Question, I use my TC on my main PC (vista x64 in dual boot with win 7 x64) and on a Pen Drive for work @ clients pc's. These client pc's are mostly XP (some vista cropping up, mainly on notebooks) so the XP menu is very usefull.

But it would be TERRIBLY Cool to have also or as an alternative (fast switch, say with a toolbar button), vista and windows 7 menus (x64 please) and toolbars (cpl, etc)

Any chances of you doing that please :?:

Sorry, In order to make that, I would need access to Vista and Win 7 - wich I don't have.
