OK, chewed for gifted guys like you.
Make a BUTTON on Button Bar (I hope you know there is it) like this:

Command: totalcmd.exe
Parameters: /O /L=drive\left_path /R=drive\right_path

...and click it. You see, one click to change both panels - exactly like it was requested. Or you have any problems with it?

That doesn't mean they are idiots and can't get basic things like one mentioned above.

You are not a friend to me, buddy.

Very often I need to do the same operations, which need the same folders in both panels.
Now, with Tabs it is much easier... But 8 tabs in every pane make me lose a lot of time looking for that folder I need.

It is possible to change both panels with only one click?
It is possible to insert two commands in one button (o menu option)?

create button bar with this command cm_MatchSrc but before click it first activate the panel you want another copy of it

and if you want to Synchronous directory changing in both windows you can create button bar or menu entry with this command cm_SyncChangeDir and excute it again to disable this feature.
is this what you want?

Hello Jqn!
Maybe I don't understand your need, I am not an expert and I don't understand english language very well.
Nevertheless, If experts permit me, I would suggest the following solution:

Command: cd Sourcefolder
Start path: cd targetfolder

Can't you make that? Why the others don't suggest that?

It is not obligatory to use "cd" in "Start path", just a path is enough:

__________transmission_from_clipboard____________

Start path: Determines the path to be set before the program is started. If no path is given, then the path of the source window is set.
Important: If the command (given in the command box) is cd drive:\directory, then the path given in this edit box is set in the other window! This allows to set both paths (source and target) at the same time.
______________end_of_transmission________________

t> Why the others don't suggest that?

As for me I don't use this solution much - it linked to active panel, so the source and destination paths can be opened in left panel as well as in right one according to which one is active this moment. But if this is exactly what you need this is your solution %).[/face]

Hi,

Excuses by delay in the answer, but in Spain it has been holiday until today.

BlackDog never has been friend of anybody, but his command works fine.

Thank You.
