Hi, Balderstrom.

In addition to the tasks which you list, tc2usb.exe performs some additional work which would have to be included in the normal T.C. installer as well:

tc2usb.exe reads and interprets your existing (non-portable) T.C. installation including all plugins and tries to transfer it to the selected (USB) drive.

The normal T.C. installer currently does not care about installed plugins. It simply leaves your existing configuration alone, which is fine, because all it needs to do is update the genuine T.C. binaries and files.

Ah, I use EnvironmentVars -- anywhere I can in the wincmd.ini when it needs an absolute path, e.g. plugins dir.
