OK, so it works with "Open File TC" and "ChoiceEditor".
Again, there will be no speed improvement if UE is not already running.

I'm curious about it: What does the EXE do? (Please explain in simple words for a non-programmer.)

Drag the file with the mouse from TC to UE window.
Thats what I do... I simulate drag & drop.

Please add an icon to the exe. This will be integrated for example in OpenFile TC.

Normaly I use a button in the button bar and the following commands :

Command : C:\wincmd\lst2str.exe

Parameters : /X:"C:\Program Files (x86)\IDM Computer Solutions\UltraEdit\Uedit32.exe" /L:%L /N:10 /C:4096

I use the lst2str tool from http://www.ghisler.com/tools.htm#other

I can edit up to 10 files at a time. Since the files I edit are too big, sometimes 1 or 2 GB each, 10 are way more than enough.
But for regular source code files, I can't notice the difference of speed.

You are either using an older version of UE, or didn't have UE already running when measuring speed... ?
And, of course, this tool only starts the file loading process sooner, the loading itself is not faster.
