Vochomurka,
>> Thank you both
You're most welcome.
Please note that it would be a lot more pleasant for a developper, (especially freeware) to read _questions_ instead of accusations in your first post about his free software... While it is true that some developpers publish completely immature programs, they are NOT the majority, and before accusing, please test the software a little more thoroughly.
JFYI, I am 65 years old, have been developping programs professionaly since 1981, and still do although... free. You are invited to visit my web site for several dozens of other freeware.

-Launch EG_Ico2File.exe with any file;
-Press the "Show All Icons" button;
-Switch to another app;
-Switch back to EG_Ico2File.exe. Icons get invisible. To show them, one need to press "Hide..." and then "Show..." again.

-If no, will you enhance this behaviour?

Vochomurka,
>> -Is this intentional?
No, but I have noticed this behaviour at the time. Correcting it seemed to be too difficult, so I left it.
>> -If no, will you enhance this behaviour?
Not at the moment for the above reason.
Later: I added a "Stay On Top" feature when many icons are displayed, so the problem is by passed... as soon as you close the multi icon display the program returns to "normal" behaviour...
I put a new version at the same location with a further new option.
You can configure the program to behave as it does now (do NOT check the new checkbox) OR check the new checkbox ("Save 1st dragged icon and exit ?"). In this case the FIRST icon of the file is saved at the file's folder, and the program exits, no questions asked.
I find this very useful and do not understand why I hadn't implemented it before...
Sorry for the above inconvenience.
