Not true. I always install tc there and have no problem running both versions (under Win7 at least).

Installing and running as Administrator or as a common user? Changing UAC settings or granting more rights for "Program files" folder?
I don't exactly remember what's been wrong in my case, but I'm pretty sure it's been under Windows 8+ only.

Actually you can install TC 32-bit and 64-bit to the same directory, which is the recommended method (and done by the combined installer).
