That would be nice Would that then allow up till two '-' ? one in front and one after '|', or only one or the other ?

Yes, that would be the idea. However, the '-' behind the '|' would be used from the view mode of the tab you are switching away from, and and the '-' at the start would be used from the view mode of the tab you are switching to.

18.05.21 Fixed: View modes, Auto-run commands: '-' at start didn't prevent tab leave commands from running on tab change. Put '-' after | to prevent them, e.g. cm_srcexecs|-cm_srcallfiles (32/64)

Works perfect - issue solved for my part
