Same behaviour for equal files. And yes, you can mark equal files for copying left or right via the context menuwhite wrote: 2023-08-04, 22:50 UTC And if files are unequal the checkbox is not cleared, but reset to the unequal sign.

Re: Change of string 6262
The "Select for copying.." options could also be replaced by "Mark for copying..". Perhaps this would help clarify the distinction between selecting and marking for an operation.JOUBE wrote: 2023-08-04, 23:02 UTCYes, the word 'mark' is the keyword. I prefer 'Remove ...'white wrote: 2023-08-04, 22:50 UTC It's also for clearing the checkbox if the checkbox contains a red cross indicating it is marked for deletion. And if files are unequal the checkbox is not cleared, but reset to the unequal sign. So perhaps "Clear Copy/Deletion mark" is a good alternative.
Re: Change of string 6262
How about:
Mark for copying (default direction)\tCtrl+D
Unmark for copying\tCtrl+M
Mark for copying -> (left to right)\tCtrl+L
Mark for copying <- (right to left)\tCtrl+R
Mark for copying in reverse direction\tCtrl+W
And maybe even change the order:
Mark for copying (default direction)\tCtrl+D
Mark for copying -> (left to right)\tCtrl+L
Mark for copying <- (right to left)\tCtrl+R
Mark for copying in reverse direction\tCtrl+W
Unmark for copying\tCtrl+M
Mark for copying (default direction)\tCtrl+D
Unmark for copying\tCtrl+M
Mark for copying -> (left to right)\tCtrl+L
Mark for copying <- (right to left)\tCtrl+R
Mark for copying in reverse direction\tCtrl+W
And maybe even change the order:

Mark for copying -> (left to right)\tCtrl+L
Mark for copying <- (right to left)\tCtrl+R
Mark for copying in reverse direction\tCtrl+W
Unmark for copying\tCtrl+M

Re: Change of string 6262
"Mark" is what the German translation already uses ("Markieren"), and also I think it's more clear.

Strings 6261 - 6265 are changed to use the word "mark" instead of "select" in TC 11.01

Re: [implemented] Change of string 6262
I have also contacted the translators of the included languages so they can change these strings if they want, and a few have already replied.
