Confirmed - but not quite the same way to reproduce it - I have to click on an item - move the cursor up or down with a key press, then CLICK the first item AGAIN, and then do the SAME keypress (or a keypress that takes you to the same second item).white wrote: 2024-08-16, 11:54 UTC Issue confirmed.
The issue occurs when you click on an entry, then click on another entry and then return to the previous entry by using 1 key press.
Also doing a keypress where the press don't have any effect (first or last item) - will reset things, so the bug does not appear:
Click on 1st item
Press arrow down
Click on first item AGAIN
Press arrow down - bug occurs
but:
Click on 1st item
Press arrow down
Click on first item AGAIN
Press arrow UP or HOME (no action performed)
Press arrow down - bug does not occur.
Another way to describe it: An item has to be selected by a keypress, then another item has to be clicked followed by a keypress that takes you to the first selected item.
Tested on 32bit and 64bit TC 11.03 under Windows 7 and 10. I can reproduce the bug in TC 3.03 (displaying the item name in the status bar was introduced in TC 3.02, but i don't have that) - so it took 27 years for anyone to discover this bug.
