We are concerning ourselfs with how things can be done , while it seems that some of you do just oposite.
Who exactly is "we", dude? All I can see is that with with more than 50 posts in a few days you have wasted more time in provoking people willing to help you than being kind and serious.
Yes, it "seems" like some of us are doing the opposite but this is due to your plain ignorance. You should have better invested the time for lurking and reading this forum for a while before telling anyone here how "the job" is done right. Your attitude is rather funny actually, entering a forum for the first time and behaving like some teen on crack.
I disagree. It makes sence since it is about file management. If I wan't do delete something and I can't its failure of the file management system, since it doesn't handle all cases of file usage.
For instance, consider this: When you are out of HD space while copying, TC will inform you about failure and termnate copying. What about retry (continue) after I clean some space ?
So what? I won't tell the opposite but what has this to do with plugins?
I found it to be limitation, yet some of you may think of this as special case, thus, not deserving attention
YOU found that? Oh, wow, thank you. After all those years finally someone found out that TC offers no possibility to retry. Are you kidding? What exactly do you think "we" are doing here for years?
What about VisualDirSize, icfu. Do you find it useful ?
Yes, I do, but due to severe limitations in plugin interface the call of the plugin is not too convenient when you prefer to have quick view in text mode by default. An integration like in Directory Opus is the better approach, though.
PS: also, when I am posting here, I don't need people answering me what 3rd party tools can I use to solve the problem (except if I ask). I am always interested in how things can be done within TC itself, thats way I am on this forum in first place. I am sure we all know how to use Google to find answers on general computer usage problems.
You will hear about alternatives whenever there are no internal solutions, at least this is what you get from me.
No, "we" are not all able to google and furthermore Google is not the answer to all problems, sometimes it even makes things worse because there is no decent filtering. Hence there are the forum bots, like me, which still like to answer people and be helpful, even if their attitude sometimes sucks.
