Both. (But please, if you decide to add Connect, add a "." in front of it or something so it appears at the top of the listing when listed by name or ext. Thanks.)

:)

Thank you

CL support would be enough I think :)

Thanks Fabiochelly for making this open source!
Hopefully the Delphi code will inspire/help other programmers to make a nice filesystem plugin.

Why can't your plugin (and HTTP SmartBrowser too, BTW) work with local HTML files?
I tried both
c:\page.html
and
file://c:/page.html

:(

The HTTP SmartBrowserPlugin URL Parser splits the URL in Protocol, Server, Port, Document, Username and Password part so it would be possible to add this feature in one of the next version but this also means to seperate the all read methodes in local and remote browsing which takes a lot of time :-(

Why a lot of time? It seems to me that reading local files is simple - ReadFile... :) but of course I don't know all interiors and architecture of your plugin, so I may be unaware of some difficulties.
But anyway I'd like to see such feature. Maybe make a poll to see how many people would like to have it too to decide is it worth spending time on implementing it.

Thanks for making your plugin open source! Now that its source is available, maybe someone else will add the local file browsing functions. :)

Yes - that's true... but it is not the "readfile" methode which takes so much time to implement: Local file browsing means also to allow the user to enter URLs like "file://c:/" and this means to take the entire code of Christian's WFX sample plugin and merge it with the HTTP (Smart)Browser...
