First time I tried it. It is working for me, only the top of the interface seems to be missing, until I change window size, so it is redrawn.
Post a screenshot of the problem. I don't understand what you are writing about.
the issue resolved itself when I disabled the multiple tabs.
thanks for checking

This is written about both on the racing website and in the readme.
ATTENTION: For normal operation of the plugin it is necessary in SumatraPDF-settings.txt
change the value of the parameters UseTabs = true to UseTabs = false and
RememberOpenedFiles = true to RememberOpenedFiles = false.

I would like to kindly suggest that when viewing password-protected PDF files, it would be great if the TCSumatraPDF Plugin could address the following two issues:

1. When opening a password-protected PDF with the TCSumatraPDF Plugin by pressing F3,
the focus is not on the password input dialog, so it requires a mouse click to enter the password.

When using the Slister or EdgeViewer plugins to open the same file with F3, the focus is already on the password input dialog, allowing for direct entry of the password.

2. After entering the password with the TCSumatraPDF Plugin and opening the PDF, pressing ESC does not exit Lister.
The same issue occurs with the Slister Plugin.

However, with the EdgeViewer Plugin, pressing ESC does exit Lister after opening the password-protected PDF.

Of course, I understand that the EdgeViewer Plugin has slower load times, which is why I usually avoid using it.
The Slister Plugin using SumatraPDF 3.52 also has the issue where pressing ESC doesn't exit Lister,
which is why I hope TCSumatraPDF Plugin can continue to improve. Thank you.

I have not tested on files with a password. Send me at least one for testing. In general, to work with password-protected files, it is better to use SumatraPDF from my archive. This is a special version.

SumatraPDF 3.5.2, SumatraPDF 3.4.6, or the special version 3.1.1 in the archive can all open password-protected PDFs.
The issue is that the "focus" is not on the password input dialog ( includes using Ctrl+Q to preview the PDF), so need to click with the mouse to activate it, which is inconvenient.
Additionally, in special version 3.1.1, there is an issue where the icon background at the top of the screen displays abnormally.

Password-protected PDFs are usually various personal bills sent monthly, here is a sample password-protected PDF. The URL is: https://www.nutrient.io/demo/password-protected-pdf
After entering the password "test", you can click the download button in the upper right corner to export the demo PDF file.

What version of Windows do you have?

Both Windows 10 and Windows 11 24H2 have the same problem.

Additionally, I noticed that slister first displays the password input dialog box, and then shows Lister after entering the password,
while TCSumatraPDF displays both Lister and the password input dialog box at the same time.

Updated the plugin.
Version 1.15:
* fixed focus behavior for password-protected files.
* internal changes.

Thank you for the update. However, after testing, there are still some issues as follows:

The test environment 1:
Windows 10 64bit + TC 11.50RC2 + TCSumatraPDF 1.15 + SumatraPDF 3.5.2 & 3.1mod
Password-protected (test) PDF file: document.pdf

TC right window, press F3, focus: OK, after entering the password "test", Lister: OK, press Esc: OK.
TC left window, press F3, focus: OK, after entering the password "test", Lister will be in the background, need to click on the Lister in the taskbar to activate it.
Additionally, when the 'remember opened files' option in SumatraPDF is enabled (default setting), opening the same Password-protected PDF a second time will prompt to enter the password twice.

TC right or left window, press Ctrl+Q, the focus is not on the password input dialog, and then click the password input dialog,
unable to enter the password, the cursor blinks and intermittently deletes the entered password.

The test environment 2:
Windows 11 64bit + TC 11.50RC2 + TCSumatraPDF 1.15 + SumatraPDF 3.5.2 & 3.1mod
Password-protected (test) PDF file: document.pdf

TC right or left window, press F3 or Ctrl+Q, the focus is not on the password input dialog, and then click the password input dialog,
unable to enter the password, the cursor blinks and intermittently deletes the entered password.

Read the readme. This option must be disabled. It’s even written about this on the download site. This is precisely why you have glitches. As well as the UseTabs option.

How are you going to scroll through the list of files? In Ctrl+Q mode, you must always press the Tab key to go to the opposite window. Study the TC help.
I tested the plugin on Win11 and Win7. Everything works great. If disabling the options does not help, test on a clean system.

In Quick View, there is no need for the Tab key as long as you are not typing anything into the quick view window.
Without this, quick view would be useless.

To switch to the password entry window.
I must move the password dialog out of the Quick view windows,
before I can enter anything.
Inside the Quick view, it's flickering.

Contact the author of SumatraPDF. My plugin does not control the display of the password entry window.

Switch to the password entry window using the Tab key. Then there are no flickers. I'll see what I can do with the mouse.
