Fine. I can make a special version for you. There will be no flickering. But after entering the password, the focus will be lost. Necessary?
Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
No, I very seldom open password-protected PDFs.
Thanks for offering it.

Me too. Actually, this is the first time I encountered it.

It seems that we managed to overcome the flickering of the cursor when entering with the mouse. If you don't mind, please test it:

The new version 1.16 solves the password entry for protected PDFs using the mouse.
All other tests are still working fine
Thanks for fixing it.

Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
I'm on 1.16 and notice the following problem (I don't know if it happened with earlier versions)
when copying a batch of files and selecting Background option, when subsequently viewing pdfs (F3) through this plugin, I seem to be unable to close them unless I stop the copying process. Seems to be related to the focus of the copy window vs. the pdf-sumatra window

Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
Of course, if the program has lost focus, it won't work. We need to bring the focus back into it.wjharing wrote: 2024-12-21, 19:25 UTC Seems to be related to the focus of the copy window vs. the pdf-sumatra window
Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
losing focus shouldn't be the reason why I can't close it anymore.
Afterall, when I select to move the copy process to background, it should give me back control to the Total Commander windows (which it does).
If instead of watching a pdf through this sumatra plugin, I check out a picture through another plugin, this problem does not occur, and I can close the window of the picture, while the background copying process is in progress.

Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
Eliminated in version 1.17.
Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
Awesome, thanks for the quick turnaround! (and merry xmas)
Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
Thank you for those last versions! It somehow finally make it much more stable in my environment and i can abandon sLister, just like it is

I have tried to switch many times before, but... this lister has freezed randomly Sumatra and Double Commander many times per day. Sometimes killing Sumatra from task manager was helping to unfreez without killing commander, but sometimes it wasnt and need to kill it also. It is the only plugin with stability issues i have.
Some updates from version 1.13/1.14 to 1.17 makes it much more stable. Now it freezes maybe one/two times per week. I really cant reproduce this behavior. If you could look at this and kill this issue, that would be perfect!
Another thing, yesterday i found it cant search for 'Q' letter, please give us 'Q' letter back

Edit:
P.S. Changing lister by N from TCSumatraPDF to uLister making glitch in bottom left "opened file number/all files" in uLister here. Changing from Imagine to uLister doesnt.
Dont know it is caused by one of the lister plugin or file manager...
Re: TCSumatraPDF Plugin <-> sLister Plugin | SumatraPDF
What does Double Commander have to do with it? Total Commander is being discussed here.
Most likely Sumatrapdf itself is buggy. Check the Sumatrapdf folder. If there is a folder with the name like crash ..., then the program itself is to blame. Also pay attention to the requirements in the Reidmy file:rav wrote: 2025-02-21, 13:30 UTC If you could look at this and kill this issue, that would be perfect!
ATTENTION: For the plugin to work properly, you must change the value of the
parameter UseTabs = true to UseTabs = false in SumatraPDF-settings.txt and
parameter RememberOpenedFiles = true to RememberOpenedFiles = false.
The Q key is a hot key Sumatrapdf to get out of the program. I can't do anything about it.rav wrote: 2025-02-21, 13:30 UTC Another thing, yesterday i found it cant search for 'Q' letter, please give us 'Q' letter back![]()
It is better to ask the authors of these plugins.
