The discussion started in this german thread. There norfie² pointed to this Google statement.
Or do you have better suggestions but "extended Quickfilter"?
Its a little bit like Firefoxs Awesomebar. I also could name it Awesomequickfilter.
German Google statement wrote:Integrieren Sie keine Google-Marken in Ihre eigenen Produktnamen, Servicenamen, Marken, Logos oder Firmennamen.
So I think I will rename it to "extended Quickfilter". In some places I will append a "(formerly Google like Quicksearch)" to it. (this topic & totalcmd.net download page)Google translate of Google statement wrote:Do not include Google trademarks in your own product names, service names, trademarks, logos and company names.

Thanks for all suggestions so far.
Never heard camel case so far.
(nice suggestion)
What do you think:
QuickSearch or QuickFilter?
1) QuickSearch: Because for historical reasons its called so in TC config->Quick Search?
2) QuickFilter: Because the new dll is almost useless without activating "ctrl+s".
I prefer QuickFilter.
The names I think of:
a) QuickFilter Plus
b) QuickFilter Expanded (or eXpanded)
c) QuickFilter Extended (or eXtended)
d) QuickFilter++
e) QuickFilter eXtreme

2Samuel,
Is the Quick Search in TC called just "Quick"?
It doesn't matter what we say, you are going to name it what you think it should be. Why bother asking?
2vic2009,
Apparently, "search" must be too hard to spell for some.

I voted in the 2nd poll but stayed out of the first one as there is no "Search" option in there at all.
The only reason I think "Search" should be included in the name is that verifies it is for the QS in TC and not something else. Otherwise, you are going to get questions as to where and how to use your add-on.
