The WebDAV plugin shows conenctions as folders, while the SFTP plugin shows them as links to allow to jump directly to a subdir. The breadcrumb shows only directories, not files.

Sorry, I don't understand what you mean with new sort order. Can you please explain?

In TotalCcommander 7.5b we can now work with folders in FTP, to sort the connections in to them.
In the SFTP plugin we have only one list with a lot of entries. So I ask to have folders in SFTP too.
Found in History.txt of 7.5b1:
"14.12.07 Added: Folders in Ctrl+F FTP connections"
Hope it helps.

Ah, I see. In principle it would be possible to have subfolders in file system plugins to store connections, but so far I haven't implemented it in any plugin yet.

Hello,
with TC7.5pb2 the 'cd' command works again, great.
However I found out one problem with stored passwords management.
When I create new or edit some existing SFTP connection then "Protect password with password manager" option gets always selected now (maybe it depends on the FTP setup where I have all passwords protected) and if I leave the SFTP connection password field blank it just gets screwed up:
- It's not possible to open the connection then as I get the "Failed to load password!" error.
- It's even not possible to do anything with the stored (but actually none) password when modifying the connection properties, there's only button "Change password..." displayed for such connection and clicking this button doesn't do anything. Also the option "Protect password with password manager" is absent in this case.
In sftpplug.ini file there's always an entry "password=!" for such connections - I had to change it into "password=" in order to get it working again.

Hi!
Sorry for the stupid question, but where can I download the latest plugin?
I tried to check the plugins.htm page, but I just found a SFTP plugin from Hans-Jürgen Petrich and Martin Kanich.
I also found a link in this forum to the version 0.5 beta: sftpplug05beta.zip and I changed the version number up to 0.9 (so the latest version I found is sftpplug09beta.zip).
Maybe I'm a bit lame, but I wasn't able to find the appropriate link!
Ps: sorry for my bad english...

Actual its 092 beta
libssh2 dll
About setting up the plugin :
The cURL page is easly confusing. As write in the first message of this thread, the line to look up is:
Win32 2000/XP 7.19.4 libcurl SSL enabled Günter Knauf 1.92 MB
This is the last line in the "Win32 - Generic" section.

Little inconsistency:
I created toolbar button with command "cd \\\Secure FTP\connection name\dir"
When I press disconnect when focus is on panel with connection, then it goes to "\\\Secure FTP\".
But, when focus is on other panel, then content of panel which was used by sftp returns to directory which was open before pressing button.

This is intentional - in the first case, TC goes to the parent of what the plugin reports as the root (\\\Secure FTP\connection name). The idea is that the user may want to connect to some other server. If the connection isn't in the active panel, the plugin is simply turned off.

Maybe this behaviour could be turned off in options?
a) I connect to server via button specially to not see any dialogs, menus, etc., (one-click) and now I must close SFTP tab after closing connection (second click).
b) I don't like "destroying" tab by \\Secure FTP\. I can't simply return to place which was opened before connection in that tab. Maybe solution would be creating new tab?
