Because it is decent viewer?
It is small, quick and has dozen features:

And it is
free without any limitation. Few other viewers (IV, XnV, etc.) are free for personal use only.

Imagine (stand-alone) HAS image centering option. I even can't remember version of Imagine w/o this option.
And I'm have no troubles with centering in quick-view mode.
Imagine constantly gets new features, nicer interface, has small size. I forgot about ACD See when Imagine got stand-alone version. Only file icons I use my own, like in ACD See, because I like to see different image types in different icon colours.

I didn't even see the EXE file in the plugin directory. That is nice. I use ACDSee right now but it takes a little long to load when you are not using the Quick Viewer.

I just looked and I don't see an option to center the image in the stand-alone version. Where is it?
Do you make your own icons? I use Axialis IconWorkshop for icons. Can't be beat, although I suck at making them. I can edit the heck out of them, though.

Lister -> Options -> Center images
AFAIR it respects lister settings.
Where is this section within Configuration? (i.e., there does not appear to be any section called Lister).

He was referring to the setting in Lister there which affects Imagine in TC.

2petermad,
Is there a way to do the image associations for Imagine stand-alone without having to manually do them one by one? I didn't see anywhere in the settings to do image associations.

I was looking under the Options themselves. Duh on me. Thank you, sir.

Imagine doesn'tr have it's own center image setting
When in Viewer mode (
not in Browse mode) use:
Options -> Preferences -> Window -> Center Window

Thanks! The browser mode was messing me up. Great little program, sir. It looks like ACDSee might have to take a back seat for a while as my main image veiwer.
