2AlleyKat Hello !
• The archive is updated
You can see the exact version as a pop-up info text passing the mouse over the link.
- I thought to keep the archive name up to 1.3.0; or else, I would make an archive with a neutral name for all future versions... ? And still the "balloon" for the update infos…
- Thanks for the Danish translation, I'll add it as soon as alextp shall confirm I can do that. EDIT : finally, I chose the neutral name for the archive… Kind regards,
Claude
Clo
And this is all language files for TC PlugMan 1.2.1 I received: download from my page.
Files: Russian French German Swedish Dutch Polish Spanish Danish.
2All:
Should I create new topic for ver.1.3 or not?
I released version 1.3.0: download at homepage.
I used suggestions that were given here by Clo, Djk, franck, others, and at Wincmd.ru.
Edited: It has only 2 lang files (eng/rus), so send your updated lang files.
(Clo, please update download link at French page too )
Changes:
v1.3.0
- main window: made resizeable, added list icons, list context menu
- you can install/disable/uninstall more than 1 plugin at once;
use Ctrl+A to select all
- "Configure" button (F9) - allows to edit plugin .ini file/
show plugin configure dialog
- "Rename" button (F6) enabled for LS plugins too
- options: "Use %COMMANDER_PATH% in paths",
"Restart TC after plugin installing"
- fixed: TC runs with ini-file you selected;
LS/FS plugins now cannot be installed second time;
LS/Packer plugins now installed with DetectString/PackerCaps
- .w*x assotiation:
- added 3 icons for 3 filetypes
- if plugin is already installed, PlugMan shows this
* each time I launch the program, I need to tell him where Total Commander it; it looks like it ignores its own .ini file
* the order of lister plugins is very important; the program just sorts them by name; instead, it should keep the order used in the INI file, and most importantly it should allow to change the order.
* packers plugin have an attached integer that determines their capabilities; it would be nice if the program allowed to inspect this integer and maybe even change it
I confirm all the oblomov's notes and support his suggestions. I know it's possible to change the order of lister plugins using "LS order" command (from context menu) but it would be better IMO to integrate all the possibilities (configure, disable, rename, change the order) in one window.
Additionaly:
- If I press "Configure" on some .wfx plugins I very often get an error: "Exception in FsExecuteFile()!"
- If I double click the plugin and then press cancel - the window scrolls to the beginning.
One more thing: there is a nice PluginManager.wfx (by SCHMaster) which does the same so it seems you both do the same work. The only difference is that one program is a plugin for TC and this one is standalone.

It cannot ignore ini-file.. maybe your TC_plugman.ini is read/only?
But if it ignores: 1. under what OS?
2. Try writing in TC_plugman.ini by hand: [Paths]
TCPath=C:\TC\Totalcmd.exe
For Lister plugins order: you have "LS order" command in context menu.
I forgot to write it in Readme.txt
For Packer plugins caps.: maybe in the next versions...

Hmm, I think plugins order works only for LS plugins.
So it may be better to have window for this.
Buttons "up", "down" won't work in main window for all plugins...

Ok, I'll fix.
2All: to display FS-plugin Configure dialog, need I call FsInit(), or may call only FsExecuteFile?

The .ini file is there, it is written correctly. The problem seems rather to be that it is not read when the program is launched. The O/S is Windows XP Professional (more or less to SP1 level)
For Lister plugins order: you have "LS order" command in context menu.

- There is no string to translate the packers setting-dialogs.
- All remains in English. Do I release the language French file like this ?
- I didn't see the German and Danish updates yet… Have you them ?
