it looks like Samsung doesn't remove the apps from that list when they are awakened
Well, they seem to be removed from the list when you open the app from for example the Home screen - but only if the app was put on the list
automatically, not if it was pot there manually by the user.

Well, my phone doesn't seem to put any plugins on there automatically, so I can't test that.

Well, my phone doesn't seem to put any plugins on there automatically, so I can't test that.
My phone only does that if a plugin hasn't been used for a long time (more than a month I guess) and I have enabled: Battery -> Background usage limits -> Put unused apps to sleep.
Once in awhile I get a push notification from my phone that plugins are going to be put into deep sleep - I can then do nothing and it is done, or I can tap on the notification and remove apps from the shown list of apps that are going to be put to sleep.

Hi, and THANK YOU FOR posting about this, even if you didn't do it for me in particular...
Troubleshooting (read; "solution" at the end);
I restarted my phone (S20Fe) after having read answers here; didn't work. Restarting it again didn't work. None of the plug-ins were deactivated or put to deep sleep. In the settings, I had previously disabled that for all plug-ins, and till today, all plug-ins have worked perfectly.
Irritated user-ramble;
Safe to say, this is the first and last Samsung I will ever own. I have had issues with it since day one, always clashing with what Samsung assumes that we want/need. HTC Desire and most of their models are much better when it comes to what the users want, but unfortunately they are quite rare here in Sweden.
Solution;
What finally solved it for me was to shut the phone off. After starting it; Ta-@&$-Daaaa! Restart twice didn't work, but a complete shutdown did.
Thank you again, and thank you for one of the first softwares I have ever bought.
It's been a life-saver (Well, that might be exaggerating it, but you know what I mean) since version 1.(sumthin') when it was called Windows Commander.
