It's confusing. Any of the 3 suggested options reads better than the current one:

1: always switch to last visited tab among the open ones
1: always switch to last visited open tab (not the closed one)
1: always switch to last visited tab (doesn't apply to closed tabs)

A closed tab was open at some point, wasn't it? I disagree that the word "again" is redundant. It makes it absolutely clear what the result will be and what won't happen. I don't see why this is supposed to be confusing either. I would leave it as it is currently.

When a whole sentence is written in parentheses, it should refer to the context, in this case to the fact that we are talking about the last visited tab, and not some once-closed one. If this is not a sentence, but a phrase with the negation of an adjective, then a link to the context is not required, and the entry itself is shorter and clearer.

So there is no need to change it because it is good as its is.

Sorry, we are losing far too much time on a tiny sentence in the help.
Since no one seems to be a native English speaker, it's quite useless to try to find the very best solution here. The current wording is "good enough".
