Did you tried from a fresh install unzing zip file and verified that you do not have any other imagine64.dll in your path or loaded from TC ?
I had imagine starting but closing just after a second, the ini trick did the job.
Also If TC replace Explorer to open folder/drive you can have some issues.

First, thank you for replying!
I tested with freshly unzipped zip file. The imagine process starts up but shows nothing and hangs in task manager. Have to kill it each time.
TC is not configured as Explorer replacement. So running Imagine right from Explorer shows the exact same beaviour.

Just a hit in the dark:
Imagine is using msvcp100.dll which is part of "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Runtime".
You may reinstall the redistributable package in your language (latest is SP4).

Already had VC++2012 SP4 Runtime installed. Did a repair just to be sure. But nothing changed.

Comparing the contents to the January 2020 release, some translations have been added: In the CHM-file a copyright date and a PayPal payment link were updated, and the icon of imagine.exe 32-bit was updated to match the 64-bit version. No updates have been made to the .dll, .wcx, and .wcl files, they provide the same functionality.

Hi! I have trouble getting the WebP-plugin running in Imagine.
I'm on Win10 x64, newest Imagine version (Imagine_1.1.1_x64_Unicode.zip with Imagine64.exe dated 24.12.2020), Imagine_Plugin_WebP_x64_0.0.8.zip extracted into imagines Folder.

Running the standalone Imagine64.exe, the WebP Plugin is showing up as an installed plugin. But when I want to view any webp file, I get an "unknown error".

Any idea what may be the issue?

I have no problem to view .webp files with this versions of Imaging and the WebP plugin.
I displays such files fine with the plugin in Total Commander and also with Imagine64.exe.
The WebP plugin is in the plugins folder of Imaging of course.

I have no problems either viewing *.webp files in Imagien, neither standalone Imagine nor Imagine plugin in TC

Could you maybe provide a file for us to try.

Problem with this file confirmed.
But I can view this file fine with the TC Photoviewer plugin and with IrfanView.
I have replaced Imagine with the Photoviewer plugin since a long time.
