I already tested the image too.
Currently Imagine only supports MNG files that actually have bitmap frames.
The file that you attached has no bitmap frames.
(Only MNG special chunks.)
In other words, Imagine currently supports MNG files like XnView does.

As suggestion:
Animation (MNG) is show as multipage, always show the first frame, being necessary to press shift+AVpage and shift+REpage to see the rest of frames.
A good addition could be: view as animation.
Beta 12 has been released and I cannot reproduce the F3/Escape problem. Maybe my test is too simple but what I did was download an image frm Steves Digicams site and repeatedly did the F3/Enter/Esc sequence about 30-40 times. No error whatsoever.
If you want me to do some more testing, please let me know.
Same problem here with beta12 (even with a fresh ini file), i thought that 0.9.7.0 beta11 had solved the problem but i was wrong, last 100% ok version for me is beta8.

I have had a lot of crashes lately, where I have been doing some changes to animated gifs - it seems that animated gifs make it happen even easier.
The crash always happens when I close Lister.
I have different versions of TC running (for testing), and they are not all equally prone to crash with Imagine 0.9.7.0. beta 12 - so maybe for example the presence of other plugins matters (they are not all the same in my different TC installations).

The last three betas (10, 11, 12) crash easily here when quickviewing through some jpg-files. I verified this testing the last four betas against several sets of jpg-files. Only Imagine v0.9.7.0. beta 9 didn't crash so i downgraded back to that version. I didn't experienced any issues since.

(Imagine/Plugin/*.DLL)
I've none of the Imagines plugins installed as i don't need them. Quickviewing jpg-files doesn't require any of the two available Imagine plugins. The reason for the crashes must be hidden somewhere else. Maybe the 'DPI information' feature which was introduced with beta 10? Since that version the crashes appeared while beta 9 runs flawless here.

The date/time of .wlx, .dll, .exe and plugins\*.dll all correspond
Imagine beta12 is almost stable when I use TC 6.55 - but when I use TC 7.0 alpha7 Imagine crashes after opening 5 or 6 animated gif's (and that is reproducable).
Unfortunately YOU cannot test with TC 7.0 - yet, but the fact that Imagine beta 9 is stable under TC 7, but not beta 10, 11 and 12, suggests to me that there is something wrong - especially because I CAN get an error under TC 6.55 too, although it is rare and unreproducable.

Sory but that is jokeless - how can u say talk about a bug when none but u can reproduce it ????
