That sidebar in NetCaptor loads http://www.google.com/ie, a specialized Google site for usage in sidebars, you can add that as panel in Opera with no problem and the results are loaded in search bar of course.

If you prefer to always open a new tab when clicking links this can be done, too.

Just throwing in another bait...

What is your impression about the new Netscape 8?
I have a mixed one, but for sure it brings some new ideas worth to be considered by the competition.

My impression is that Netscape sucks. Instead of showing me their website they are presenting me some stupid warning about Opera 8 being outdated. *sigh*

This is not the right way to treat interested people, looks like AOL doesn't learn from the past.

I fired up a calculator and found this by accident:
B(N)=B(IE)*B(FF)
B(N) > B(IE)
B(N) > B(FF)

Well, should be enough by now (if multiple clicks from same i.p. adds to valid counts).

Must go now, click some links somewhere... :)

Well, I was not asking about the company , just the product itself.
Features like the multi-bar, but especially the list of potentially harmful sites.

I have revisited Opera (now up to version 8 ) and find it works well. Only one crash in two days, which is much less than in the past.

Opera v8 seems much more logical in its layout options than previous versions, too. Plus, the "Windows Native" skin is much more my style than any of that flamboyant stuff others seem to want.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions here.

Some first time tips you can try.
1. Redefine keyboard action "ctrl w" to "Close page, 1 & Switch to next page", this activates Firefox style of closing tabs. The default is "close pages in order of last visit" which can be irritating especially if you have opened many tabs and have switched among them a lot.

2. Redefine "Platform Windows-Unix-QNX, Tab ctrl" to "Switch to next page" and redefine "Platform Windows-Unix-QNX, Tab ctrl shift" to "Switch to previous page". The default is here too the order of last visit.

3. Tools-Preferences-Advanced-Browsing-Cycle pages-> Cycle without showing list

icfu, im not know why you love Opera so much?!
Firefox its Open-Source browser, and that give you to make your own perfect browser..

The good thing that i can to say on opera its the Speed, and the Featrues included on it.

I never have some probelm with Firefox and when something not good for me im search a good plugin and all its ok.

Opera working 10 years. and she have about 20% peoples in the world who using her.
Firefox have 10% in something about 2 years.

Opera have a lots of probelms\crashings\bugs.

As has FF plus the Bugs appearing through the hundreds of AddOns
that are not compatible with every FF Version or with other Plugins
but what I dislike the most about FF is the Startup Speed...
as Opera shows its possible to start as fast as IE without being a system component...

Firefox - The Ultimate Browser!
So, why should I repeat what has already been said months ago?

So, you say that Opera is fast and it has good features yourself. I don't know what to say then anyway. :?

It was because I followed a link to here from http://ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=78580#78580 that I noticed your question.

EDIT:

I don't know for sure if he really is 18, but that what it says if you click his ICQ button.
