Total Updater 0.8.6.9 - Total Commander & plugin updater

I tried the current version (0.8.6.9, displayed as 0.8.6.8, patched version from September 2015) and get an error message

8.1.2016.0 is not a valid date

Then the program stops. It seem to be created from listerplugin "ICLView".

I have reported this issue to the author of ICLView

For now you can highlight the ICLView item and press Ctrl+X to put it in the exeption list in order to make TotalUpdater work again.

BTW: Sometimes the version is displayed "Installed: 1.5.2.0 / Available: 1.52". I suppose this is an already discussed behaviour?

The Version for TotalCommander is also shown as updateable.

But there ist no Update after V8.52a.

I marked the two ICLView entries manually and updated them. Afterwards I right clicked them and Refreshed them. Now it works again ... at least for now!

Can this use something like a commandline utility,
so different network environments,
and problematic urls etc can work?
Direct unreferred links are rare these days.

It happens at the first plugin line check .


EDIT:
I noticed that during this error, the site http://totalcmd.net/ was unavailable due to some error.
Later on the site became available again, and the Total-Updater return to run OK as usual. so maybe there is some connection between them.

I use the current version (0.8.6.9, displayed as 0.8.6.8, from 13-10-2015) and still works. (win 7 & 10)
But the database is from (02-04-2015). Is this database still up-to-date? Or is it cloud maintained?

Or is this maybe a subject/sourcecode to be take over by Christian himself?

is this project abandonned? for all plugins i get an unknown status

When I startup this program the date is always the same (2-4-2015)
But all Plugins give OK.
And when there was a update for TC itself, its was remarked to have a new version.

So I think the program still works (With a cloud database?)

Maybe try F5 or CTRL+ R to reload the list. (The curved arrow)
The database has 581 entry's now here.
Is this number green?
Check the directory's in the configuration settings
Check TotalUpdater.ini (change setting ShowInfoBox=True)
Copy the .exe in the Totalcmd program directory and start there? Maybe it has to reload some settings?

I have some issues here (two were already reported a year ago):

1. The program is version 0.8.6.8 although i downloaded 0.8.6.9

2. I got an "List index out of bounds" at the end of the PlugIn list when the updater worked

3. Now the last and most annoying: Sadly the Updater doesn't work anymore I get an error

Error: Host (totalcmd.net) cannot be found

Is this program still under development or is it abandoned now?

Well, http://totalcmd.net isn't working, the HTTPS Version https://totalcmd.net is doing just fine.
Maybe this could be updated in the program code while http://totalcmd.net is down.
