Total Commander

how do we know if this feature will be added? Is there a promise list, under development list, etc.?

It's on my wish list, but so far my tests weren't very promising. Windows doesn't send the "highlighted" flag to listbox draw functions when the listbox doesn't have the focus.

Glad to see some progress. I wonder how Double Commander did it. Double Commander is open source so maybe this could give some insight

I'm using the latest snapshot of Double commander and see no option for this ?

It's on by default so there is no option. Last time I tried it when Double Commander is inactive, the last selected folder/file should be highlighted.

Can we please be notified if it will be included in the next upcoming release?

Are you guys saying no one knows how to add a color to an inactive cell?? Seriously?

I'll try to see if I could ping one of the Double Commander guys. Hopefully I'll get some answers shortly.

This is a "forum", a request and response feedback. We deal with a product here that I "registered" for just like many millions of people around the world.

With all due respect your request can not be met. This is not spamming. I created this thread and I have the right to say what I want.

You may delete it yourself but that would completely change my view of this forum.

For one, I would think that it is sort of useless to ask for feedback.
For two, why bother asking for features if they can not be met?
For three, Other users will see this kind of behavior from a "power user".

As you can see in the changelist of the laste Beta is not in it yet. And I have the feeling no new features will be added to the 8.0 release. So please be patient untill the next release (meaning after 8.0 release).
As Ghisler wrote it is on his wishlist and he has even already looked at the coding. That is more than can be said for many other requests.

Thanks Henrie. That's the kind of response I expect when getting back a response. I know I've been sending messages more than the usual but it is just the normal behavior when you don't get feedback.
