humm... seems more complicated.
I have desinstalled SynUs and SynPlus, then reinstalled them. At that moment, print preview works fine on any file in any directory.

exited TC, restarted: the same bug reappears... :?:

And how about HOME/END (without CTRL) and SPACE/SHIFT+SPACE keys? Lister has them.
Stop abusing my name!!!
Sincerely yours,
John Smith.

Bug in SynUS 1.5.4

Post by *lzvk25 »

Bug in SynUS 1.5.4

While viewing an 'SQL' file, if I press the right arrow key and then the left arrow key, TC freezes and I have to terminate it using ctrl-alt-del.

SCHMaster> Beside me all work Ok. If this possible, send me this file.
It has nothing to do with a specific file, it happens on all files, at least for me. It occurs when u scroll left after u have scrolled right, and only with the keyboard, using the scrollbar with the mouse works ok. As you can see, I'm not the 1st to report this, so I hoped it was fixed in v1.5.4, which it isn't.

Another scroll issue: When u scroll down, it goes with a 2 lines interval, but when u scroll up, it only has an interval of 1. This is not a bug, I was just wondering what the reason for this is?

Also, as suggested by jsmith, how about adding Home/End shortcuts without having to press Ctrl?
Of all the planets I've been to, this one is my favorite.

2SCHMaster :
I just sent you the 'SQL' file, although I don't think it matters, it is happening with my 'C/C++' programs as well.
I have Windows 98SE on my machine, maybe the OS has something to do.

Yes, the line numbers are visible.

Another thing, under 'Options', I cannot find the SynUS configuration anymore. So, how can we change it's options now ?

You have to right-click in browser (or use dropdown-key) and select settings from there.

In earlier versions the F - button displayed the settings. Why was this removed? I miss it :-)

Also on my two machines TC hangs if I try to scroll right and then left again (as I have reported in this thread earlier). I run win2000 on both.

 To me it happens the same only if I enable line numbers.
I already posted a message about this bug in this topic, but I think no one answered. :(

1:Copy SynUs.wlx into your Total Commander plugins directory,
and add the following line to [ListerPlugins] section in the wincmd.ini file:
0=C:\wincmd\plugins\SynUs.wlx
2: Copy bvsett.dll and print.dll into plugin directory.

Standard ML Borland Form definition Tcl/Tk Support KOI8 Support ASCII (DOS charset)
Export to HTML, RTF and copy to clipboard Print files of syntax ighlighted.
