[face=courier]OK, Tomukevich Sergei - if you want to play that silent game, keep it playing.
2All Complex CD/DVD burner plugin registered users.
This plugin packed with ASProtect, tool that uses viral polymorphic code (so some antiviral programs consider compressed with ASProtect files as infected ones).
Some information about ASProtect (from CASPR README.TXT):
"ASProtect is a very powerful win32 protector. It has compression, encryption,
anti-debugging code,anti-disassembler code,crc checking,anti-dumping, etc.
features. It uses also strong cryptographic algorithms like Blowfish,Twofish,
TEA,etc, and also uses RSA1024 - very strong public keys cryptographic
algorithm - as registration keys generation. It communicates with the
application through API hooks including import hooks(GPA hook) and export
hooks. Furthermore, since v1.1 ASProtect uses the Win95.Marburg's polymorphic
engine.ASProtect v1.11c was added anti-Apihook code(stolen from Win32.Crypto)
and the BPE32's polymorphic engine.
The big question: Is it a super virus or a commercial protector?"
Among other potentially dangerous "features" ASProtect adds tracking "spy-keys" to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\CLSID" - you can know that for certain by "unregistering" plugin %).
So you got unwanted Registry manipulations with your or any third person's system you use this plugin under.
I do understand that authors want to protect their software from some actions this way, but I don't think registered users should be treated like this.
So my suggestion is to disable all ASProtect "features" after product registration or if it's not possible distribute special UPX packed or/and unpacked version for registered users.[/face]

We aren’t aware of your claims, so please do explain.

Unfortunately, we are gravely of no anxiety of the opinions of the programs cracks tools creators.
We are quite satisfied with the current protection provided by ASProtect. As the program is worth of the money spent on it. We regret to inform you we have banned your proposal.Among other potentially dangerous "features" ASProtect adds tracking "spy-keys" to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Classes\CLSID" - you can know that for certain by "unregistering" plugin %).

What exactly should I explain, dear Tomukevich Sergei? YThat you "company" user support sux (speaking fair)? But didn't I told you that before? 8\

That wasn't addressed to you (though I'm pretty sure you didn't liked it %), so I'm "gravely of no anxiety" of your opinion in this case, sorry. That's how the things are - get use to read the things you definitely won't like.

I'm talking not about your satisfaction, but users - it looks like you have hard times understanding that basic thing.

Well, may be ASProtect do worth... %)

Actually I would be really surprised with any other answer. But the goal of my post was to aware registered users of potential danger of your plugin usage, dear Tomukevich Sergei.
BTW I still didn't get an answer on my letter (what a surprise... %) - is everything OK with your "girl-interpreter"? I do worry about her...
And Merry Christmas, dear Tomukevich Sergei.[/face]

I hope you didn't spend too much because the protection can be circumvented very easily!MegaTom wrote:We are quite satisfied with the current protection provided by ASProtect. As the program is worth of the money spent on it.
Besides, it makes the loading of the executable or dll very slow on older machines...
but for me this is off-topic as I don't use your plugin....
...BRB...
Now when a person "Copies" any directory in our plugin, this directory infact is not copied, but created a new.
Although the directory stays the same but this leads to the change of date and time.
Thanks for telling us about it, in the next version we will try to correct it!
