Confirmed. A crap, i liked that [NSIS] as kind of flag so i could tell which program opened the installer.

What language is that? Sounds strange, yet so familiar.. :D

Great job if it works ;)

Can I use %COMMANDER_PATH% var or relative paths for adjusting the path to the 7z.exe in nsis.addon?

Yes, you can. You could just have tried it out, cuz it can't harm your system

xx/xx/2003 ver 1.1.3
+ System environment expansion for "Archiver" key value. Now you can use Windows system variables, like %WINDIR% in your Archiver definitions.

Bugs in your addon:
1. Consider plugins installation files of the java plugin. (I mean those small files for online installation)
Thay are opened, the filelist is the same as if they were opened in 7z FM, but file sizes are all zeroes...
Those files have an icon of probably old nsis version. But this file has a new icon, but the problem remains;
2. $R0 "file" has zero size either, but it's still all Ok in 7z FM.

XPEHOPE3KA, check back the questioned files with 7z/7za directly. I know of several files where 7z is able to produce a listing but most or all files have a filesize of zero. So that probably isn't a bug at all. Or at least its not a fault on icfu's side, Igor is the one to blame. :)

Like deus-ex said, it's a problem of 7z.exe, not the addon!
It makes no sense to compare with 7z FM, you have to check the file listing with 7z.exe cause this is what MultiArc calls:

Code: Select all

7z.exe l <path>\archive.exe

It shows sizes. So the problem is in addon.

But $R0 size isn't shown - so here's no mistake.

It shows sizes. So the problem is in addon.
1. It does NOT show sizes. Do you see the empty column "Size"? No, not "Compressed" but "Size"!
2. It does NOT show attributes. Do you see the empty column "Attr"?
3. The problem is NOT in the addon.

I reported this behaviour as a bug. Igor said that
In some cases it's difficult to detect sizes.

With our fabulous NSIS addon for MultiArc.ini I can't extract this file (SuperCopier2beta1.exe)?
http://supercopier.sfxteam.org/modules/mydownloads/viewcat.php?cid=1

Its NSIS v2.05, IDPOS is 34308.
If I use the Debug=1 parameter I get:
Error:
Incorrect wildcard in listfile

With Universal Extractor (http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=62418&st=0&gopid=451189&#) it works fine.

Universal Extractor uses 7z v4.41 beta.

No problems here with unpacking. The most recent SuperCopier version is Beta 9 by the way.

I now tried 7-zip v4.40 to 4.42 an downloaded the latest version of the NSIS addon from TotalCmd.net and still get that error message.

Did you modify your addon icfu, is there a difference to that of TotalCmd.net?

By the way, I only see beta 1 and beta 1.9.

Nope, I haven't modified it.

Yep, 1.9, not 9.
