Trancluent box shown only after a sec-two, when you search in a huge file (in small files box is not shown)
ThankxWhen translating the RegEx chapter, ...it seems to have the most complete info about PCRE
With Notepad2, not with UV. Cannot be shown with UV now.. the line breaks are shown in text with Notepad2

Do you make "resampling" of icons? for ex., resampling of UV 16x16 icons to 24x24, so they look better. Then I can make option "Big icons" in UV, which will show this 24x24 list of icons.
This is not automatic job, I get here:

Edit
Only those may be "resampled", which 're shown in fdefault UV configuration. Others can be resized, I think.

My old idea

Hello Alexeï !
• I had made a set of 24² icons in my own style that I sent to you,
but didn't use the ones of the programme regarding the motives…
- My idea was to get an option (even hidden) to state such a set as i.e. an alternative single bitmap strip,
just needs to get a template giving the right order of the images on the strip.
- The strip could be designed for the default icons only, further it's more complicated,
and needs a dialogue to add other larger icons, like in XnView for instance…
• Anyway, resampled or blown up, an option for larger icons (like 24²) is welcome…

Temporary solution ?
2Alextp
Hello Alexeï !
• Sorry, I reply a bit late, but after the forum crashed, I didn't come back here as soon as repaired…
1. Can't the original designer do ? I guess that anyway, its permission is needed…Isn't it ?
2. The original images as 16² are not available for me, except to make a capture and split the bar, or so.
• Resizing - even using a good algo like Mitchell or smilar - needs a lot of retouchs with a questionable result,
it's the reason for which I had drawn other motives from nought, it's nicer and not longer.
- Temporarily, couln't the programme show simply blown up icons (to 24² or else) on demand, with a simple option ?

Currently no, sorry. //multibyte encodings 're not supported.

1. Original designer: I don't think permission is needed
2. Original images sent to you

What I want to implement
I'll post beta link.
I'll post beta link.
To create your own icons for UV, do the following:
1) Go to Options -- General, choose "Icons" dropdown list, "Create template" item.
This will create .bmp file in a directory of your choice.
2) Open this file in a graphic editor.
Resize it, so the bitmap height becomes of needed size,
and resize it proportionally. For example, default icons size is 16x16,
your own size is 24x24 - so resize the bitmap to 150% to get 24 height.
3) In graphic editor change the needed icons, leave others untouched.
If you want to change only icons visible on toolbar,
then edit only these icons.
The transparent color is the color of the left-bottom bitmap px.
4) Name the resulting file the "Name NNxNN.bmp", where "Name" is icons name,
and "NN" specifies the bitmap height.
5) Put this file into Icons subfolder of UV installation folder.
Next time you'll open Options dialog, this file will be available in the "Icons"
dropdown menu.
