My own, dirty - Total Commander Mobile-Tool ;-)
Hi,
because the TCLaunch.exe made some Problems on my USB-Stick, i wrote (still quite quick&dirty) my own little "TC-Mobile-Launcher".
It imports the current ini-Files and launches it with relative pathes..
if someone wanna try:

@Duderino:
TC starters are pretty much superfluous since TC 6.5.
All you need to do is copy wincmd.ini and wcxftp.ini to TC dir and set UseIniInProgramDir=7 in [Configuration].
Besides that, check out this official installer:
http://www.ghisler.com/usbinst.htm
It will not only set the above setting but also copy all TC files to USB stick or wherever you want, offers an option to copy the plugins you want and will adjust the paths to %commander_path%. It will also create a starter.exe in root with the hardcoded relative path to totalcmd.exe.

Opera releases weekly now:
http://my.opera.com/desktopteam/
Only for geeks and for testing, of course...
TP2 is working great here, the new release too.
FYI:
In case you are confused about the new cookies handling, set "Enable Cookies=6" in opera6.ini or with opera:config and Opera will remember your permanent cookies while ignoring the rest.

OK, I defintely found what is causeing CLCL bug:
it is ini line:
which is periodicaly changed by CLCL to 0 without user intervention. I don't know why is this happening, but if you have problems with unworking plugins just change this line. If you did set CLCL and doesn't change it alot you can make this file "read-only" so CLCL can't change this value. For fast access to "write mode" you can write batch script to change file permissions at the end of the ALT C menu.
it is ini line:
Code: Select all
[filter]
all_action=1

Ok, I finally wound GUI thing. This is the problem:
Options -> Filter:
If you set All of format will be added to history it will change ini to 0. Then it will not work
If you set All of format will be excepted to history then it will work. Just add all format for the same effect as above.
Can you confirm, Sans ?

2majkinetor !
It corresponds to this setting:
Options / Filter / All of format will be added to history
which means, everything will be added to the history. I never wanted it, so i have set it to "All of format will be excepted to history", i guess this means something like "Only those in the filter list will be put into the history"
EDIT: hehe, you found it out. I will see if i can reproduce the bug.
EDIT 2: bug confirmed.

MultiMonitor
For anyone with a multiple monitor setup this adds a taskbar on the second monitor,a function I have been looking for quite some time.The taskbar buttons of apps moved to the second monitor are moved also uncluttering the first taskbar.
I gave a go on Ultramon a couple of times but it always crashed explorer after some use.This works great doing just the basics,and its free.
Since it has a very small feature set I'll write the all the rest here as well:
1.Autohide
2.Add a button on title bar for sending window to next screen (not needed here as the graphic card drivers do the same-it can be disabled)
3.Use Ctrl+Alt+Arrows to move the window Left/Right(same as above)
4.Basic clipboard monitor.(again I have a diffrent app for that but someone might find that it fullfills all his needs-can be disabled)

Well, thats very strange
Please have a look at the iconEmpire website:
http://www.iconempire.com/
now compare it with the site you mentioned:
http://www.sibcode.com/
This website does look familiar, eh? It seems those two sites are sort of clones as they look almost fully identical to each other and even some apps they supply are quite the same. As if it was one single company standing behind both names.
That's really strange, I'm quite confused.
