Non-recursive search files

Post by *szlori »

It just struck me:
Isn't there an option to disable the recursive searching in subdirectories?
It seems by default TC searches all the subdirectories as well.
Isn't there an option to not do that?

Am I missing something?

Quick Search (Alt+Letter (or whatever you configured in Configuration->Options->Quick Search) ?

Select group (Num+)?

Yep, that's a good one!
But wouldn't a simple checkbox (checked by default) be much simpler?

Yep, would be simpler.

But on the other hand: All the years I used TC I never wanted to search only in the current directory but always including subdirectories.

So I'd say it is so rarely used that a checkbox would be exaggerated in this case.

Another simple way is to select all files first and then start the search.
