Howto open lzh files with f3 and copy archives directly out

Post by *tosbsas »

Hey there

I do use 7zip plugin and so far no problem with opening files with f3 and opy files out of compressed file to another destination - but when trying this with lzh files I get an error about configurating external packer - which I did

I've checked Tc 6.55 and no problem at all unpacking Lzh files, but with Enter-->F5 or Alt+F9 not with F3.

Have you configured Tc like this ?.
Configuration -> Packer -> Use internal un-Lzh if possible.

Have you tried it with several Lzh files or just with one ? ,maybe the file is corrupt.

If the question contains OR inside it, the answer cannot be just YES.

BTW might be that you are using some multiarc addon for it and the unpack command is wrong, while the list command is right.

ok, once again (:-))and thanks for all intents to help

I don't have multiarc installed. Only Packerplugin installed are sqx and 7zip

I can look into the file without problem, bt when I want to copy the dll out if it I get an error

You say everywhere "the file". So you mean one file. Find another file and try it.
You can also publish the file. Or try renaming it to *.lha

I see you haven't answered for sas2000's first question: what's the state of "Configuration -> Packer -> Use internal un-Lzh if possible" option?

Yes, I can't extract anything it too (I don't have any lzh-unpackers, just trying with TC). Seems like TC itself can't extract all the lzh-files...
