Difficult to say what the problem is - normally when the Explorer can send via Bluetooth, Total Commander should do it too...
Please turn on logging to find out what the problem could be:

1. Use the registry plugin to go to
HKCU\Software\Ghisler\CECmd\Configuration
2. Double tap on "+Add value+"
3. Enter the name LogFile, type String
4. As contents, enter something like \log.txt

Did you close TC via the menu? If you just close it with the X button, the PocketPC will just hide it.

The file will be written to where you specified. If you specify \tclog.txt, it will be written to the root with name tclog.txt.

Yes, I did it.
I also try a softreset, but i can't find a file.
I search with the TC about the hole memory, i could not find something :(

Do you some other ideas?
I don't want to use the MS explorer...

Do you get a log file when you try to connect to an ftp server? Just enter a fake address, it should give an entry in the log.

Yes, it wokrs.
Not at the 1st time. But I try it some times and now I see the logfile.
Date Time: Making Internet Connection...
Date Time: Resolving server adress...

but nothing more.

It's that ok, when I start and close the TC normaly?
Then it shoulkd write the log file?
Or I've to do something, to get a logfile with some failure notice?

That's a bad indication, the Widcomm stack does NOT work with the Pocket PC Bluetooth functions, only with its own Bluetooth program.

Are you sure that you can send files via Bluetooth with the built-in file explorer? The Explorer does use the Microsoft functions, which do NOT work with the Widcomm stack. On my Ipaq, sending files via Bluetooth does not work with Explorer and Total Commander Pocket, only with a tool called "Bluetooth manager".

sh**.

Yes I'm sure, because I've send some files (with the Explorer) to a college...

Do you know, what is the difference?
Can I use a functionality of the explorer?
Or, where can i find out, which stack the explorer use??? (registry?)

I should buy me an another PDA, not an ASUS A636... :-(

Your device must have a special modified Explorer then, otherwise it wouldn't work.

I'm sorry but Total Commander Pocket cannot support the Widcomm stack. The SDK would cost about $1400, too much for a simple freeware.

Seems to be a special WM2003SE problem, since the WIDCOMM stack is AFAIK the most used for such devices (as in my FSC-Loox720).

Just installed the Resco Explorer for comparison - there´s almost nothing the TC could not do even better, but BT sending is working fine with WIDCOMM without any additional settings... :-(

BTW: the Loox has no BT extension in the file manager, only the Bluetooth Manager with its §%&"!&; (grrrr) file dialog (takes about 30s to open with two well filled memcards installed...
Geht nich is nich.

Resco Explorer is a shareware product, so they could afford to buy WIDCOMM Bluetooth API. TC/CE is freeware, and the Bluetooth API is quite expensive...

Yes, they must have paid for it. I don't want to make Total Commander Pocket shareware, it's my hobby and I want to keep it a hobby.
