I have some troubles with japanese characters whwn I use TC.
There are many places (for example context menu) where japanese characters look like ??
I cannot copy some folders in TC (have to use explorer for them)

And I can't even enter some folders.
On this screenshot there are 2 dirs I cannot enter with TC, though I can enter them with explorer.
Hint: these directories were created when my locale for non-unicode programs was set to japanese. Now it's set to english.

When I copy some japanese letters and want to create folder with such name, TC says that directory [??] already exists.

I also have some folder with some power symbol (for example bit-tech.net _ Hypercube² Part I 01.mht) - but when I try to copy this filename and create foldername with such name (Hypercube² Part I) - TC says that dir not created. Why there is such filename and cannot be foldername?

No one ever claimed the unicode support has been improved in TC 7. You'll have to wait for the next major version where full unicode support is promised.
