Compare by content - saving

Hello,
it would nice to save a modified file (in the compare-by-content-dialog) other the hitting the compare-button again.
A toolbar-button "save" or something like that would be nice.

Hm, but when you press the 'compare'-button again after editing a file, you get a dialog for saving right/left file etc. Or did I get you wrong?

No, you are right. But I do not want to compare again, I want to save

Ah, OK, now I got it
. Indeed that would be a nice addition. Perhaps also Keyboard shortcuts could be added, e.g. CTRL+S to save the left file, and CTR+SHIFT+S to save the right file (maybe with an _optional_ confirmation against accidential keypresses).

Can you create a disk bitmap (symbolizingsaving) in the size of the other icons in compare for me, please?

Sure, no problem. A few little questions about this:
1. Which color format should the bitmap have? Should it be a monochrome or 256color-icon?
2. Do you need an additional icon for an inactive state?
3. Do the icons need an indicator (left/right file)?
