Directory Tree Dialog

Post by *ttil »

Let we have directory tree info (treeinfo.wc file) on current drive.
Go to any subfolder (any dir different from root). And go to Directory Tree dialog (Alt+F10). Current folder selected here. Now press F2 to refresh tree. After refreshing cursor goes to root (not stay on current folder).
And one more thought. Maybe enlarge label with path? Make it not 2 lines but 3.
Thanks.

Wildcards

Post by *Demonzero »

Good day

I would like to suggest add wildcards feature when typing letters of folder in Directory Tree dialog. Similar feature exists in FAR: when you type: --
*present
it finds not only "Presentations" folder but also "NewPresentations" and "XmasPresents".

Wildcards with "?" and "*" in many cases are very convenient when finding right folder.

Best regards

Hi and welcome!

In TC7, this feature was added. You can enter * and ? as wildards in the ALT+F10 tree.

The cursor stays on the selected folder after refreshing with F2 in TC7pb3 :-)
