decClipbpoardFS
This FS plugin shows contents of Windows Clipboard as a file-system: different clipboard formats are presented as files of different extensions: text as .txt, pictures as .bmp and .jpg etc.
As an option, when you create screenshots by PrtScrn, plugin allows to remove app window backgroung from the final image.
PS: The author, russian guy Dec, asked me to post this info here, he doesn't speak English well.

Thanks, looks like the best clipboard plugin right now. Can you ask him to add PNG support?

There are no problems. It is already realized. Download
http://decget.narod.ru/decPng.rar , then copy contents of archive in a folder of a plug-in and restart TC

Thanks, but I can't get it to work unfortunately. PNG doesn't show up. Where exactly do I put decPng.dcf? I have tried plugin root and several subfolders but no success.
Also I have checked plugin config. PNG is listed two times in there under "Build in formats" but there is no entry for "Plugin formats" showing up.

It is necessary to put decPng.dcf in a folder in which lays decClipboardFS.wfx. Restart TC, entry "CF_BITMAP - Png.png" should appear in section Plugin formats. Has just checked up, all works.

Nope, it doesn't work, sorry. I have also tried with a fresh TC installation/wincmd.ini.
I am using XP SP2 and have checked in TC 7 Beta 1/2 and TC 6.55a, maybe someone else can try to reproduce it. No entry "CF_BITMAP - Png.png" appears.
Also I wonder if it's normal that decClipboardFS.ini is in binary format...

If I open any of the formats (Oem_0001.txt, Text_0001.txt, Unicode_0001.txt) in Lister they are all detected as Binary.
With F4 edit in Textpad the unicode version is interpreted correctly as unicode.

@Alextp:
Which OS? I have tried all I can do, it simply doesn't work.
@roentgen666:
That's a problem with the lister and has nothing to do with the plugin.

Whether you can show me the full list of files and the directories located in a folder with decClipboardFS.wfx

It is normal

It is a TC problem. My plug-in has no any relation to this problem.

This is solved in Universal Viewer (see on totalcmd.net).

Of course I also tried Universal Viewer
. The result: they are all detected as Text (1).

Nice plugin.
PNG doesn't work here too.
In "About" window an entry
exists.
But the file Png.png shows size of 0 bytes and isn't viewable - i.e. lister opens with an empty sheet.

Oh.. yes, it does.
The problem with detection is that decClipFS doesn't write Unicode BOM signature to a file. If Dec will fix that both UV and Lister will autodetect it.

How about the 'Build in formats' (shouldn't it be Built?)?
In there I also have:
Code: Select all
Format: PNG (greyed); File name: Png.png
Format: PNG+Office Art; File name: PngA.png
