I don't know but you can use the solution described in TC help:
"If you have set Total Commander to left mouse button selection mode, you can use the right mouse to Drag&Drop too. In this case, you will get a menu when dropping the files which allows to choose between copy, move, and create shortcut.."

You're getting also the 'move to'-dialoge when holdingh the Alt-key down...

Would it be possible to set:
Drag -> copy (like tha way it is)
Drag+Shift -> move (like tha way it is)
Drag+Alt -> menu (like right-dragging)

sometimes the menu is realy handy, but I don't want to change the left/right stuff for other reasons. And how need both way (Alt and Shift) for moving?

But I agree with the proposal of a configurable default (the method without keys). I also need move more often.

Another tip from TC help:
"hold down the right mouse button before releasing the left button, then release the left button first to move the files!"

Cool! Didn’t know that! If only we had a manual for Mastering TC! ;)

(Yeah, yeah I know it’s in the help file!)
