Escape directory size check

If you check/select a directory then TC goes calculating the size. Perfect that it does that! But I like to have the option to escape that. Sometimes TC even stalls for 20 seconds!!

You can use the free content plug-in DirSizeCalc alternatively:

Thanks Lefteous for the info! But don't you agree that this is a typical feature that should/can be in the core of TC? This isn't an add on or something, it doesn't add extra features it just helps TC to work better!

So thats why I like this to be an integrated feature of TC.

Well Ghisler hasn't implemented a better directory size calculation so I made this plug-in.

No it's a plug-in :-)
it doesn't add extra features
Mh there are additonal fields, custom units, reparse point handling and some more advantages.

I agree with you, it adds some extras but to my opinion this makes TC better. For me the actual system isn't working that good. If I accidentally hit the space bar in my project dir structure then my PC stalls for about 20 seconds.

@Ghisler, what is you opinion about my idea?

Which idea do you mean, by the way?

Strange - pressing Escape works perfectly here to stop calculating dir space.
