I don't think he can do better. In fact, it's currently very fast for JPEG2000 (much faster than IrfanView used alone): JPEG 2000 is very slow to decode.
An option Fit only big images doesn't work. All the images are fitted
You have to disable Fit to images first.

Strange, commands using [Ctrl+]-Prefix dont work with Keyboard here. I'm running TC v5.51 on Win98SE.
Gladly i found out that your Plugin offers a Rightclickmenu, where all commands are accessible and do work.
You should mention that in your plugin's Readme.txt, since it's valuable, if you can't remember a particular command.
Thank you for Imagine, and please continue it's development!!!

Yes, but you cannot parameterize the conversion. What’s the use of having a jpg with the same file size as its corresponding bmp?! (other than some compatibility reasons for apps that may not support one format over another one)
nyam wrote:Did you select the file format at the save dialog?
I was using the native “Save as…” of Lister and not the Ctrl+S built-in your plug-in. Sorry about that! Oh, and I’ve located a bug or rather a functionality conflict. Since TC supports the bmp format in its core functionality it seams that your plug-in becomes inactive when viewing bmp files. None of the supported features of Imagine is possible when viewing bmps. For example, pressing <Ctrl+S> or <I> does nothing! Is there a workaround I’m missing or is it a functionality conflict bug?

He actually mentioned overriding IrfanView in that thread but not Lister. Let’s hope that he implied Lister as well. As it is now, TC’s internal viewer overrides IrfanView and plugins for bmps. If Christian didn’t had in mind the IV as well but just IrfanView the problem will be present in v6.0 as well! That is because if v6.0 allows a plugin to override IrfanView (only) the IV will still have higher priority based on the current behavior and as a result the plug-in will be ignored for bmps only that is.

I hope in TC 6.0 it will be possible. Christian has promised to make posssible to define which files will be viewed with IV and which with another viewer (http://www.ghisler.ch/board/viewtopic.php?p=9747#9747) so I believe it will be also possible for .bmp icon_smile.gif

Zoom functions would be greatly appreciated, too, as would a tool bar!
Nice suggestions indeed! I would also appreciate centering and zooming in/out. The tool bar sound excellent but I don’t think it’s easy to implement based on the fact that we have currently a three digit number of plug-ins and none makes use of a tool bar!

I see a grey background instead of the transparency light and grey squares.
