Immediate update of panel contents on ctrl+tab

The ctrl+tab-key could be more useful, if the panel contents would be updated (i.e. synchronized with the newly selected tab) immediately after pressing the tab key. In the current implementation this update occurs only after releasing the ctrl-key.
