want prior 'switching tabs' behavior

The new v7 beta has added a feature that I dislike. I would like to request a setting to optionally stick with the original behavior.
When you switch tabs (with ctrl-tab), TC used to switch to the next tab immediately. Now, instead, it uses popup help text to display the full path of what the next tab WOULD show if you went there. You have to release the ctrl key to actually go there. I prefer the original behavior where you can cycle through every tab and see its contents without releasing the ctrl key. It's much more cumbersome now. I understand that some people might not want the folder contents refreshed and would prefer to cycle through tabs the new way; thus it should be an optional user preference setting.
