[Whish] Show>Custom -> changed background colour

Post by *x73 »

Suggestion:
The windows background colour should change if a funktion like "Show > Progams" (ctrl+F11) or "Show > Custom" (ctrl+F12) is acitve.
Please enable this possibility to be set in "Configuration > Options > Colour"

Present state:
The background colour does'nt change. It is often confusing if I have forgotten that the display is in the "Programs" or "Custom" mode - and there are no files to be seen. A changed background colour would be a good reminder.

Support. Similarly with ignore list. I always have to remember that some files may be ignored.

I would prefer to have a different color for the panel header (Current Directory line).
This is also the place where the filter string is shown.

Other than this I agree that a visually better reminder would be most welcome.

I support the idea, but only when a filter is set.
I can read English, but... I write like Tarzan. (sorry)

I think a little icon to the right of each panel's path box would be good.

Similar to the way a web browser shows RSS availablity (for instance), in the browser addressbar.

Or perhaps in each panel's mini-status bar...

I personally use a set of buttons which all load a specific filter including my own filters. The button state shows me immediately if a filter is enabled or not.

The only problem is that when a custom filter is enabled the button with cm_SrcUserSpec appears as pressed. This is logical but it would be even better if the button with the custom filter would appear as pressed too.
