1. But how you've created Locate database? You scan mapped drive? UNC path?

2. What happens uf you get full path of such offline file from locate32 output and type in TC command
"cd <offline_full_filename>"?

1. I use only UNC pathes for my network shares. Locate works fine with it.
2. It just shows nothing or gives drive not found error.

Please, try to run search when you know "for sure" that this search will find not more then 2-3 offline files. It also cause to TC to hang?

ADDED. Is TC hangs when you search in background too?

Quite interesting!

Even more interesting - I also use fhRAR together with iso without any problems. But I don't use 7zip!

It hangs with only 3 offline files in the result.
TC does not hang if I use Separate Thread.
Also I can use Refresh in the plugin view after a few seconds
and it shows the results just fine.
The offline entries are not shown in this case, but a line with the missing share.

Why you need this as option? Why not to open serch result always if search already finished?

Hm, and that is exactly what I have requested, so it's fine for me. I just suggested to make it optional because of the disadvantages you mentioned.

Just a tiny misunderstanding. So if a search will always be opened directly, I'm prefectly fine with that.

And according to my downloads statistics several people found it useful too.

Seriously, I really surprized by number of downloads. I thought about 20-30 users who may be interesting it this plugin. But actually every version was downloaded from 100-120 different IPs.

Hi, I have exceeded my laziness and registered into this forum to say THANK YOU very much for the tool. I have tried two older versions of your plugin, but this one is perfect for me.
Now I can use key shortcut for lunching the dialog and the list of files is displayed as a result - exactly what I needed.
The combination of your plugin, locate 32 appllication and total commander is very powerfull.

Trying out this tool and it works all fine

There is just 1 issue I run into. The input box for "Only in" is too short. I can't put in a lengthy path. The max is 60 characters. Is there something I need to do different or can you make the path field longer?
