Currently, whenever the filter in the “Choose Command” dialog changes, the list of commands is immediately updated. This causes a lot of flickering in the display and can also be somewhat slow when under load.
It would be better if the list of commands was only updated after a slight delay after the filter has been changed, the delay being reset whenever the filter changes. I guess something like 200 ms or so might work.
