Bug or feature regarding Ctrl+B

Hi

The result of Ctrl+B is not maintained when I change to another tab. If I have two tabs open on the left side. I press Ctrl+B in on tab to get a list of all files. If I then switch to the other tab and back again, the first tab is restored to it's original directory. If I have pressed Ctrl+B on the left side and switch to the left side instead of another tab, I am ok. So I can have Ctrl+B "active" in a window on the left side and on the right side at the same time, but I can not have two tabs using Ctrl+B at the same time.

Is this a bug or a feature?

regards,
bdk

It is a known limitation.

This is a feature. Ctrl+B can take a very long time, so it isn't remembered - it has to be invoked by the user.

Wouldn't it be good to remember the list while the tab is opened?

Sounds usable to me, but from a user's view I see some problems:
- the Branch View can actually not be recognized optically; when you return to such a tab, how would you know if it's in branch or normal mode?
- the file list of every saved tab can take quite much memory space
- what about changes while the branch-view-tab stays unchanged in background with a fixed file-list? I think this would only be useful if "Auto-Refresh when the file system changes" is possible for stored/static branch-viewed tabs.

If these are no problems:
Support.
